  • Return tickets are available, these are only valid on the day travel, and cost twice the price of the single fare.
  • A Child has to be between the ages of 5 and 15.
  • Children between the ages of 14 and 15 require a valid child photocard to qualify for child fares.
  • Adults aged between 18 and 24 participating in the "New Deal" can also claim child fares with the appropriate photocard.

  • Travelcards are valid on Tube, London Buses, Tramlink, Dockland Light Railway, and most National Rail services within London.
  • Travelcards are valid for unlimited travel from 00:01 any day of the week, and for any journey that starts before 04:30 on the following day.
  • Off Peak Travelcards are valid for unlimited travel from 09:30 Mondays to Fridays and 00:01 Saturdays and Sundays, and for any journey that starts before 04:30 on the following day.
  • Weekend travelcards are valid on two consecutive weekend days (ie. Saturday and Sunday) or public holidays (ie. Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday) for unlimited travel from 00:01, and for any journey that starts before 04:30 on the following day.
  • Travelcards are not valid on special bus services and excursions.
  • Travelcards can entitle you to a third off scheduled Riverboat services if shown at the time of travel.
Family Travelcards

  • Family travelcards are valid for one day and are exactly the same as a normal one-day travelcard, with the following restrictions.
  • The group must consist of one or two adults travelling with between one and four children.
  • All members of the group must hold a Family Travelcard and must travel together at all times. However, members within the group do not need to be related.
Carnet

A Carnet is a book of 10 single tickets for underground journeys within zone 1 only, that may be purchased in advance. These tickets have to be validated before travelling using machines at the departure station. They are also valid on Thameslink services between King's Cross and London Bridge.
 
DLR Shuttle / Flyer

These one day tickets provide unlimited travel between 0001 on the day of purchase and 0430 the following day on the DLR only. They are valid between intermediate stations as well as the named ones.
