New Year's Travel

Tube travel is free on New Year's Eve after 11:45pm until 2am on New Years Day.

A Saturday service is running, but there will be trains running up to an hour later than normal from Central London in the early hours of New Year's Day.

The following stations have restricted opening

• Cannon Street will close at 21:00
• Westminster will close at 22:00
• Piccadilly Circus will close at 23:45
• Heathrow Terminal 4 will close at 23:58
• Covent Garden will be exit only from 18:00 and closes at 22:00
• Leicester Square will become interchange and exit only from 19:00 and closes at 23:45
• Shoreditch will be closed all day.

On New Year's Day a reduced Saturday service will be running until 10am. This means that there will be trains about every 10 minutes in central London and 30 minutes on branches. The Waterloo & City line will be closed all day.
